Couldn't agree more with hiring a moving company. I had to move a few years ago and it saves so much hassle. Also don't forget to sort out the internet for your new place as I know I had to wait a week for it to activate in my new place. You could always box up a lot of the stuff right now...

Good to the original poster. I think these sort of journeys are good for us to read and for motivation to the original poster. I'm sure if I started posted what I was doing I would get better results and not keep getting distracted by videos of cats on reddit.
