the concept is whether you can somehow scrap something specific from a huge domain list and monetize that info. It can be info related to the the domain, the the website, the cms its using, where and how its hosted, user info, anything.

you can try to use the cloudflare firewall, comes with free and paid plans. Blocks most of the traffic that shouldn't reach your servers anyways. If you feel like it elaborate as to why you need that firewall. What are you trying to block?

I recently had to manually create a couple hundred subdomains for a friend, best thing I found was to host the dns to cloudflare and using their api create all the records. 200+ dns records were created in less than 10 minutes :)

Proxying the website traffic behind cloudflare would be the safest bet for me to not get into any trouble. OP please confirm if you do so and/or what are other measures you have got.
