Because in the New World internet, every approved answer is already known and every search is met with a curated result designed to match allowable accessible content. It may not be a perfect system but it will perfectly control what you are allowed to see and therefore think. sadly this.

I think the method from OP has a crucial piece that you were missing, the already indexed domain - the one either you already had on hand or was already in the Google SERPS but expired (and you rebuilt). You started w/ fresh domain and just tossed spam links at it (im guessing there)

just a few questions, if you don’t mind.. did u drip feed them? did it push u forward on SERPs a few pages or just a spot or a few? page 1 lol?

fiverr? gsa ser? there’s tons of link services out there and different methods of arranging the links (wheels, pyramids etc) and don’t forget the ole’ 301 redirect so spam links never directly touch the money page.

Something else that can be tried is to swallow your pride for a bit and beg on the street, depending on your area, you will most certainly make more than $50 a day. I would recommend to keep some form of protection on you (even just a big enough stick) just in case you get harassed and be wise...
