Revolut, PayPal, Wise other EU licensed EMIs are already reporting account balances. For example Revolut reports to Lithuanian government, Lithuanian government reports to other EU countries with exchange programs. It was never wise to don't paying tax in EU fr.

Wise is a big financial company. So they should have good and up to date databases. This is why i prefer trusting that. And never had issue so far.

In such case I simply go to wise.com, if they show "UK flag" then everything is good. Some IP checker databases are out of date.

They are not really good for domains too. It's one of the few websites that support almost all TLDs but after payment they don't active your domain instantly for some TLDs (while other providers do).
