I think you're right about the tag pages being dupe content. I have /tag/ and /tags/* added to my robots.txt, and now unique posts are getting indexed. thanks.

first, i would try to delete WPR from your wp-content/plugins folder. if that doesnt i would try to disable all plugins via phpmyadmin. (usually you can access this via cpanel). just google "disabling plugin wordpress database"

What percentage of users edit their settings? doubtful people would take time to edit this. they will accept it just like they accept every google or facebook change. im not an expert, but i think it could help smaller niche sites since users will end up typing more than usual...

Part of me thinks this can actually help micro-niche sites because people will continue to type as they receive immediate feedback on their search results. This will mean people will more likely use long-tail keywords to refine their searches. What does everyone else think?
