ok thank you.. I will only use niche-specific sites and when trying to rank via backlinks.. I'll make sure to make it clickable with the keywords I want to rank on.

So.. if I create a lot of blogs (weebly, blogger, etc) and add about 10 niche-related articles (fitness, finance, etc) and then post a simple link (in article, simple link, title blank) of it, and do this A LOT, will that help rank in Google?

So, a backlink is where like in an article, the link to your website is mentioned, right? For example: "random quote" (randomlink.com) and if the link to the website is there in an article and clickable, it improves your ranking on google? sorry, i'm a noob lol
