Great advice FB are going to get ever more sophisticated. Bending the rules is the way to go, while supporting some core content or offer that is valuable to the user. Too many people are still going for the quick spam.

The platform is maturing and has big ambitions. So you can't get fans for "watch a guy sh*t in a glass" anymore - is that a bad thing? Now you actually need some decent content and a targeted niche, just like the SEO world.

Is there a way to find the id's of people that have installed a facebook app? On the fanpages for apps there maybe half a million people that are monthly users. Is there any easy way such as scraping to get hold of their id's?
