530 books live and 4 sales is indeed not a lot, but difficult to say if you're missing something with this level of info. It could be related to your titles, subtitles, keywords you're using, your designs, price-setting, description, level of competition.. just to name a few..

Going from 100 to 35% sounds a bit drastic to me (if it was 100), but comparing for instance 100 and 80% could be a good experiment. Why don't you do an experiment and try what's the best for your site? E.g. compare 100% and 80% and see what brings the best result for your specific website.
