Do you have Koplayer/Bluestacks? Or an android phone, try GEEK10's suggestion. +1 GrooveIP will give you a free US cell, doesn't work for everything but works for Insta so it should be good for a survey.

I can't add links but If you just type "receive SMS online" into google there are loads of free services. If it's just a survey it should work on most of them, pick one of the recent/new numbers if you can.
