We all know links matter. However, most citations are no-follow. Has anyone had any luck moving the needle by building links to their business citations?

I found some really nice expired domains with juicy backlink profiles from some heavy hitters (DA 90+). However, these domains are fully dropped and haven't had traffic in a few years. Can i still leverage them? PBN or 301? Or are they useless now that they're dropped (whois reset etc)
