Did you get slapped by Google earlier this week? Matt Cutts says it was a bug.
I don't know if this is the truth or if Google was testing their forthcoming "over-optimization" algo update, but for what it's worth, Matt Cutts addressed the recent Google change that caused a lot of high-ranking sites to fall out of the SERPs: I'm not sure if I buy that.
