I've got a site with around 100 posts which is around 2 years old now. I've hit it with a couple of BSTs in the past which do not worry me that much, build a few manual Web 2.0s to it with unique content, a couple of guestposts ... but also hit it with 1000 social bookmarks and 1000 wiki links...

Question: Does google keep track of past unnatural link velocity to judge a site? Is it possible to resume a more natural pattern and recieve the same ranking benefits, or does google keep this spam signal in their calculation and if so, to what degree?
