I agree with OP. If the buyer bought OP's site because the buyer thinks he can do better ranking it, then OP can remove the web 2.0 links. Buyer did not asked how it was ranked so I think removing the links was not a big deal to the buyer.

Hi there. You actually have the perfect combination of categories. There are technologies that are very much related to fitness so you really don't have to create seperate blogs.
Using it right now on Wordpress 4.6.1. Added some some sites to the whitelist but those links are still being hid from G bot. Internal links are hidden as well...
