I think it is better to make use of press releases. They can get a lot of links from mainstream media, if it is done by ppl who know what they are doing.

I think they finally decided that negative seo will only affect the small fishes. And they do not care about that. They are happy as long as the big fishes are safe and swimming.

Even if it gets run, there is no guarantee sites that got hit will make a recovery. I guess sites that escaped it will get probably get hit.
