Is the instagarm algorithm heavily penalizing multi account management from the same device lately?

Check each account’s status and recommendation eligibility first then compare recent posts for watch time and any changes in content frequency.

Your accounts will be linked by device fingerprint and network information, so if one of your accounts gets flagged, it will affect your other accounts.
It would be better to give each account its own mobile environment with a dedicated proxy to avoid the account-linking issue(as Instagram is a mobile-first platform, a browser environment may also kill the reach)
Test it with one account first to see whether it's a device problem.

Hey everyone, I've been running a few niches pages, but lately, whenever I switch between accounts on the official app, the reach on the secondary accounts flatlines immediately. Are you guys using specific emulators, separate browser sessions, or specific tools to manage multiple accounts safely without hitting hidden flags?
it might also be possible that the secondary pages themsellves are facing issues not related to switching accounts. reach on instagram is very inconsistent.i would first find out if all the posts or just reels have lower reach before going ahead with a new strategy altogether.otherwise it is easy to fix something which is not the problem.

switching accounts in Instagram's own app is a normal feature, so i wouldn't assume that's causing the reach drop. lots of people recommending antidetect browsers and mobile proxies here, but neither guarantees better reach. i'd check if the secondary accounts have any recommendation restrictions first.

It was the same way before, it’s just that the system is now smarter at identification. Consequently, even if you try to use a proxy, having multiple accounts on a single device will still lead to issues this is expected, as the platform wants you to follow the rules.

Not the app. One phone switching between pages shares device, IP and install history, so everything except the main one gets throttled within a day, emulators included. Each page in its own antidetect browser profile with its own proxy is what held up here.

This might be due to the anti-spam system's device/IP scanning. You need to check your account status and post metrics before applying proxy and antidetection browser solutions.

I am also using same device to operate multi accounts on insta app and I have not noticed any restriction in algorithm or a negative impact on reach.
Try changing your posting times and editing styles or maybe your accounts are under testing phase.

When you say the reach flatlines, is that views or accounts reached from non-followers? And did a secondary account recover after you left it alone for a few days without switching, or did the drop stay the same?

First I open the Settings page in the app and check the account status and recommendation eligibility.
Then I go to Creator Studio, open the Insights tab and compare watch time and posting frequency for the last few days.
