Hi everyone. I am not new to being an SMM, but handling a client that provides weight loss programs is a first for me and quite challenging. It's been a month since we started posting organically, but we've received very few likes and comments on our posts. My client keeps asking me if we can improve this. Could you please give suggestions on how we can enhance our social media engagement? Your help is greatly appreciated.

For a weight loss brand, try posting more relatable content instead of only promoting the programs. Share simple tips, realistic progress stories, and ask questions people can easily respond to. Building trust is especially important in this niche, so avoid exaggerated results or promises.

do deep research on gym niche creators, what they commonly do and how they achieve millions of views, and you just lost some of this content to remake, not copy them. and research what time gives very good visibility in your client's location

Make videos about the scary parts of not losing weight, people buy fear more than anything else, fat and obesity has it risky partsultiple problems attached to it which you could build on and engage users with.

Use InShot to cut quick before after clips and add a poll sticker in Instagram Stories to ask followers their weight goal Try posting a weekly transformation carousel with Canva templates and ask a simple question in the caption for comments

For weight loss programs, you should adopt a multi-faceted approach incorporating insights from experts alongside practical, real-world weight loss methods. By curating high-quality content, you can build brand credibility and attract a larger audience. Consider inviting one or two experts to provide professional guidance, and feature videos showcasing the actual experiences of clients.

Try relatable Reels, practical healthy-habit tips, simple recipes, and questions that invite conversation. Keep the tone supportive and health-focused, and reply consistently to build trust and engagement.

Absolutely! People relate to content that is prActical and useful in their day-to-day life rather than posting for the sake of reaching out to many people.

Create content that is highly educational, entertaining, or inspirational—or that solves real-world problems for your audience. The more useful your content, the higher the likelihood it will be saved and shared.

Weight loss is one of the niches Instagram shows to fewer people by default, ads for weight-loss programs are age-restricted in recommendations. So the selling posts will always look dead next to the rest. I’d keep them rare and make most posts stuff people would save anyway, like a dinner swap. What do the posts that did get comments have in common?

as far as weight loss goes,i believe that people tend to get engaged with those posts that they find relatable nd not only promotional. short videos with an interesting introducttion can also increase engagement.it is too early to judge a month’s work, so i would wait a bit.

I think you could research and share effective weight loss methods based on doctors' advice with your audience. Although the number of comments might be low, there are still people interested, so you can use those comments to respond and increase interaction.

When talking about the weight loss niche motivational quotes does not work long. triess client success stories and common dieting errors that people has actually gone through.

Maybe try experimenting with different types of posts and see what gets the most response Ask simple questions share relatable content and reply to comments regularly It can take some time to build an active audience organically

Try sharing things that most people find embarrassing to ask about weight loss, plateaus, cravings, dieting failures etc. such posts are likely to get much more honest answers than yet another transformation picture really.

i think relatable content will work better here than constantly posting about the program itself. things like cravings, diet struggle plateau nd small everyday win are topics people can actually connect with and share their own experience about. I had also mix reel with carousels nd stories to see what gets the most response. are you mainly focusing on reels right now?

Increase of engagement with social profiles are process with effect of upload content and reels with good caption and hashtags add for trending purposes to generate views and engage with profile growth.
This can be good to do, but I'd be cautious about filling the post with popular hashtags just to gain some traction. Saves, shares, and profile clicks should be tracked too, because they often reveal if you've got the right crowd watching your content.

I think you should just keep things simple and easy to understand so that the audience can easily access them. As for weight loss knowledge, I think you can refer to gym and pilatic clubs.
