What actually makes a Reddit post survive and get engagement?

I work with reddit (SMM trough Gologin), so pretty simple, I pick subbs I need, filter by popular. Taking some good post and send it trough Claude. After I choose really good ones imo and post it trough all accounts in different subs. The main rule that post should be really interesting that people will comment it
The correct approach would be finding posts that will naturally encourage conversation. The only advice I have here is being careful not to post the same thing on many different accounts and subs, since duplicate content will look like spamming.

I have noticed that some well-written posts disappear quickly while simple discussion posts vam stay active for days. Apart from obvious rule voilations, what factors have you found make the biggest differenec to a post getting visibility and genuine engagement?
Reddit's Contributor Quality Score (CQS) is what you should focus on. They use this to make sure only accounts with good activity are allowed to pass there filter. Focus on making and posting comments first then focus on doing upvotes and hopefully receiving some then focus on chatting with a few people then try doing your first post in the smallest subreddit in your niche with less restriction and move your way up.

Your CQS will improve and then you can easily do everything on reddit.

To get more engagement on Reddit and avoid having your posts deleted, you need to use a reputable account and choose the right topic, timing, and subreddit.

I think simple and relatable posts get more attention because people find it easier to connect and share their thoughts. Sometimes, a simple question can start a better conversation than a long, well-written post.

Honestly the posts that survive are the ones that don’t smell like marketing at all. I’ve had way better luck just answering the actual question first and letting the link, if any, be an afterthought.

Technical reality is the sub’s Automod + bot-bouncer settings decide survival before humans ever see it, posts that trip zero filters and get early comments from non-linked accounts live longest

Ive also found that timing is not important as much as the fact that the initial commenters have something interesting to say. If the comments seem forced and the post looks like a blatant advertisement, then people will just skip over it.

I pull high-comment threads with a PhantomBuster Reddit scraper, rewrite them in Claude then post each version only once per subreddit

relevance to the subreddit a strong opening and genuine discussion matter most Posts that invite people to share their experiences and opinions often keep getting engagement longer than overly polished posts that feel promotional.
