Hi everyone,

Over the past week, I've noticed that several websites that had ranked on Google's first page for years have suddenly disappeared, replaced by low-quality and irrelevant websites.

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Yes Sir, the plumage is everywhere. Several platforms reporting the nose dive. Worst is no one seem to know what really is going on. Anyone with a solution should pls step forward.

Yes I have recently I’d look at Google Search Console for indexing problems and look at traffic and rankings to see

Experienced slow indexing and delayed updates in GSC in the last couple of days, which normally means google is running some updates.

SERP fluctuations that have been quite crazy have also been seen by me. First, I would go for comparing the stats in GSC for the last 7 days and 28 days, and see if it is a site-wide issue or keyword/page-specific. Sometimes, trackers exaggerate the problem.

Yes that just happen google seem to constantly update how they rank websites and this change also ranking on many sites...... You should see after a month the real ranking try to check by then ...

I have observed that Google rankings can be volatile at times but drastic falls across a range of websites should certainly be investigated i feel that it is necessary to analyze Google Search Console for any indexing problems changes in traffic and affected pages before implementing any seo strategies are there any patterns in the fall of rankings?

Holidays galore. Halloween then followed by voting in the US

Of course, I wouldn’t suggest making changes to something that is only happening for a few days. Watch GSC for the next few weeks, but if your impressions and clicks continue to go down, I’d check it out.

at this stage, I would recommend that you should not undertake any action. fluctuations seem to be exaggerated in some cases in the rank tracking tool as opposed to reality in the GSC. Do you experience fluctuations in the sites or even specific pages? Is there any reduction in your impression nd clicks as well?

I’d take a look at the search console data for those pages and see if there are any indexing issues. Have you seen this happening across multiple niches or is it just one site?

I've noticed some volatility too, but I'd check Google Search Console for affected pages, indexing issues, and query-level changes first. Sometimes ranking fluctuations settle down without major changes.

Yeah, I've noticed some weird movements too. Rankings have been quite unstable lately.

I have noticed similar fluctuations too. I think we should monitor Search Console for a few weeks before making major changes. Better to understand the situation first.

I've noticed a similar situation over the past month. Every day, Google Search seems to show different data. At one point, I even thought Google bots had gone crazy!

The SERPs were showing some really unusual fluctuations day after day, but eventually, things started to settle down.

Honestly, I have no idea what Google is going to do next. Let's wait and see!

Worth checking Search Console to see if the drop lines up with a specific date and whether it’s sitewide or just one section. Also compare what replaced you in the SERP before changing anything, early volatility often settles on its own.
