If you were to create a channel focused on exploring the travel and cuisine of different countries, which countries would you choose?
Would you perhaps select the ones that offer higher payouts per view?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!

I'd probably start with Japan, Thailand or Italy. There's so much to show in those places, especially when it comes to food and local culture. I wouldn't choose a country just because it pays more per view. If the videos are interesting, people will watch.

I'd target countries that attract viewers from the US and UK too, since audience location can make a difference in earnings.

But as far as I know, many blogs in Japan have already done this, and the competition is extremely high. Thailand, on the other hand, seems less safe. Right?

I’ve also learned that the UK and the US offer relatively high pay compared to other countries in the same regions, so they’re worth considering.

I think I’ll target countries with high payouts, but I also need to consider whether the content is suitable for the long term.

Yeah, competition in Japan is definitely something to think about. But there's still room to do something different, especially with local food and places tourists usually miss. As for Thailand, I'd look into specific areas rather than judging the whole country as unsafe.

Asian counties definitely. Most European Western countries are usually less expensive to travel to, and people travel to them all the time. Asian countries on the other hand have definitely a more "exotic" feel.

I prefer to build a loyal audience, I'd pick countries on a combination of audience potential, foodie culture and story potential rather than just RPM.

Japan, Italy, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico would be right at the top of my list as they all have a very distinct cuisine and culture and there's loads of visual content to go around.

My plan would be to select a few countries, test out various food and travel formats and then use the retention and viewer geography data to work out what to scale.

If I were to create a channel focused on travel and experiences, I would choose to visit the country I love the most, without concerning myself with view counts or potential earnings. And the place I want to visit right now is Japan.

I’d choose countries based on how much there is to show, not just payouts. Japan, Thailand, Italy, and Mexico offer great food and travel stories. The best choice is somewhere you can make fresh, useful videos that viewers want to watch.

I pick places with great food, culture, and stories to share, like Japan, Thailand, Italy, or Mexico. Higher payouts matter, but interesting videos and a clear audience matter more for long-term growth.

when watching travel vlogges from differant countries, the local food are makes viewrs curious. i like some asian and european countries food. if im telling you country name first one is pakistai food then italiano food, and countries with high quality content will certainly generate good earnings.

I'm a huge fan of Korean food and if I had a youtube channel, I'd make a food blog about that country. But it seems like there's a lot of competition for blogs about Korean food.

I think there are many other people who value affordability just as much as you do. Very practical.

I know that saying this about Thailand might sound harsh, but for my own safety, I have to consider my own safety.

I will search for the bigger RPM and start from there
Very straightforward and practical, like your way of thinking.

The Asian market is currently very well-developed for tourism, especially during the summer. The costs are also quite affordable, making it a destination worth considering.

I am someone who enjoys exploring different cultures. I would love to visit China and experience a variety of cultures all within one country.

Thailand and then other countries. But Thailand is always the first for me. For everything lol. :D
It seems like you’re really a fan of Thai food and cuisine, aren’t you? I’m quite excited for you! However, please do keep an eye on your personal safety while in Thailand. there are a few reasons for this.

Your answer is very detailed and professional. If I had the opportunity to travel to so many countries, I would follow your advice.
