Have Shorts helped you gain subscribers who also watch your longer videos or do you find that the two formats attract different audiences?

yes i had some subscribers from shorts, who were watched my long videos. you can easily check it from your video analytics. analytics shows your audience or subscribers are watching your other videos, or not.

i use paid version of flow ai. its generate high quality video. i create vegetable storytelling cartoons. for voice generation i use eleven labs. for idea you can use chatgpt, and then write your script with your imagination.

I think if you create shorts from the long videos peoples who watch and like shorts will want to watch also the long form video...... is just my opinion but i see this happen to me i go and watch the whole video if i found the short to be usefull

Sounds very good. i do try on my channel, so do i have a create a cartoon character on my own and use it for storytelling?

I think short videos are more effective for reaching more people and growing your channel quickly, while longer videos are more effective for building an active audience.

I think both shorts and long videos are important for growing a YouTube channel. Shorts increase subscribers very quickly, but they are not permanent because YouTube shows shorts to a lot of people, so the number increases quickly, while those who watch long videos become real and permanent fans who watch the entire video, comment, and the channel's real income comes from them. According to me, the audience of the two formats is completely different and ninety percent of subscribers with shorts never click on long videos. Therefore, it is best to use shorts as a trailer for a long video and say at the end of the short that the full description is in the long video. In this way, both formats can help the channel grow together.

Yes off course short videos attracts the audience to the long form content. When you posted some part of your long video as a short and if it is interest and be successful to gain the attention of people then it can bring the people to visit your channel and watch the full video. In most case according to my opinion and experience when someone watch short and he likes and he must the channel for full idea. it is also happened with me, I experienced this in my life mostly.

If you create a shorts video and add a hook for interest in shorts. That is related to the long video, then people can be interested in the long video. And shorts video can easily gain subscribers.

Shorts have given me a burst of new subscribers and I always put the full-video link in the Short's description via YouTube Studio. However, many of those viewers only watch the Shorts and don't click on the longer uploads.

You may or may not gain additional subscribers from a Short. it depends on how you present your content and how you call for subscriptions within your video.

Yes definitely. Shorts drive traffic and subscribers to your channel and videos, meanwhile long form videos monetize your existing audience/followers.
