If the review goes against google's policy, I will initially confirm it, then flag this review with evidence. If it is a review by a customer, the issue is now difficult to get rid of. hence, the best solution for me would be to handle the review professionally.

I dont think you should remove it. turn it to your advantage by answering professionally, who knows, you might even win him back and more box off of him.
