Check backlinks for relevance, organic traffic, spam signals, and natural anchor text. Avoid links from unrelated or suspicious websites. Review your backlink profile regularly and remove harmful links when necessary.
I look at the overall backlink pattern rather than relying on spam scores alone. Traffic quality, niche relevance, anchor text distribution, referring domains, and link patterns all matter. How do you identify toxic backlinks? Do you rely more on spam score, organic traffic, niche relevance, or anchor text distribution when evaluating a backlink profile?
What's your preferred way to keep a backlink profile healthy?
same here, a backlink from a relevant site with real visitors is worth more than chasing a low spam score. i wouldn't dismiss a correlation based on that measure alone.I look at relevance and traffic first. Spam score alone doesn't tell you if a backlink is actually bad.
