dit (RDDT.N), opens new tab shares tumbled 29% on Friday, marking their biggest single-day drop and hitting their lowest level in over a year, after the company warned that Google's AI-powered search was ‌hurting referral traffic and could shrink its user base.

The online discussion platform still appears in Google search results but is attracting fewer clicks, as users increasingly rely on the tech giant's AI tools for direct answers.

I hope those Reddit people who used to Dox me here and try to find all my accounts and ban me would actually read what the people who pretty much made the platform worth anything (like me)......... take heed

They've ruined it

Vent time............. my opinion

1) Went on a ban streak for anybody trying to make money from the subreddits , even if administrating with good discretion , like morons. I can see if you were farming or doing things to violate visitors but banning people doing a good job at moderating high-traffic subreddits was the most idiotic thing ever

2) You dont pay anyone but went public on the stock exchange? LOL Share the wealth.... Gluk-bots

3) You're banning too any posts and comments now. Banning URLs. Afraid of outbound traffic . Reddit isn't X, people are there for the content of the web............ you dont know your audience. Many journalists and websites from around the world used reddit as a source for finding content trending with a smaller sample size of people. You've lost that major audience .

Def need to fix it up.

Nice! Time to short some Reddit stocks xD.

Reddit is a good example of how risky it is to depend on Google for traffic.

Even a huge platform can be affected when search behavior changes, I also think restricting useful outbound links too much can hurt the value of the community.

Reddit needs to balance monetization with keeping the platform useful for users and publishers.

Reddit is possibly the most stingy/selfishly owned site I can remember ever

It's almost like the owners got mad at people making so much success & money from being on there and had a meltdown

Do you think they'll actually loosen up the spam filters if the stock keeps bleeding, or just double down on squeezing ads into whatever traffic is left?
