And some websites are doing weird things like this

One thing I’ve noticed from my own tests is that if a website drops to zero traffic completely, that’s a bad sign. But if you’re still getting impressions and they don’t drop to absolute zero for a full week, you still have a chance to grow after the sandbox period.

However, if a website drops straight to zero, then it’s GG. This is just my own observation.

and what is it ?
It's how Google works.

Yes, I have nothing else to say. I agree with what you say.

How exactly do you promote your website on X (Twitter)? My posts barely get any views or engagement, lol.
You need to create an account under your website’s name. You can connect it to the X API so your tweets are published automatically. It costs around $6 per month, including the thumbnail. You can also feature your own videos, with edits such as trailer-style clips, and so on.

I wouldn’t recommend relying on Google Analytics. I suggest installing Matomo and getting your website indexed by Bing.
@lazy_monkey could you please start your own thread so we don’t clutter mine ?
Thank you.

I read the story and got curious: did you have at least some little knowledge or understanding of IT before?
Or did you arrive at this kind of plan purely by chance?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

I've known the IT world for many years. It's an area I've been interested in for a long time, so it wasn't by chance.

Hey everyone,

Here's a quick update for Monday, November 2, 2026.

Traffic continues to grow, with around 8,900 visits over the last 30 days (+330%), averaging 300–450 visits per day.
Around 90% of traffic comes from Bing and search engines that rely on its index.

Major cleanup and optimization:
  1. 15–20% of my embedded videos were no longer working (deleted at the source). I developed a checking tool and removed over 800 outdated pages. Make sure to check yours if you're using embedded videos.
  2. Sitemap issue: It was listing video.php?id=X URLs instead of canonical URLs. Damn, Google hadn't crawled it again since July! The issue has now been fixed.
  3. The affiliate widget had stopped tracking clicks for a month (raw URLs were being used without affiliate tracking codes). This has now been fixed.
  4. Removed all titles where automatic translations could suggest that the content involved minors.
I have a zero-tolerance policy on this issue. A filter is now built directly into the import process.
  5. Automatic posting to X has resumed, now using native thumbnails (link card previews are not displayed for adult websites).
The journey continues...

I’ve just carried out some major maintenance after realizing that all my backups were stored on the same server as my hosting provider.
An automatic off-site backup is now performed every night to Bunny Storage (database + files + configuration), with a 14-day retention period, for just a few cents per month.

Are you using an unlimited traffic plan for your hosting or servers? How much traffic do you generate per month?

You may not have read the thread from the beginning. Bandwidth isn’t really an issue for me because the videos aren’t served from my own server. Most of them are embedded from XVideos and Eporner, so the video traffic goes through their CDNs. The few videos I host myself are on Bunny Stream, where I’m billed based on the number of GB consumed. My server only serves the pages and thumbnails, and Cloudflare caches most of that content. The server itself only transfers around 8 GB per month in total. So a basic VPS is more than enough, and the traffic limit isn’t really important.
Traffic is still fairly modest: around 9,000 visits per month according to Matomo, with nearly 90% coming from the Bing ecosystem. Google is still underperforming, so that’s the next area I plan to focus on.
