Hey Blackhatworld user, I am facing the
Google is giving me manual action penalties for spam, and I am rewriting the blog also, but I still reject the reconsideration request. I don't know how to resolve this issue, but I trust the Blackhatworld user who gave me the accurate suggestion on how to resolve this

  • Google applied a manual action, “Major spam problems” (scaled content abuse, scraping, cloaking), affecting only the /blog/ page. All blogs vanished from Google. We generate almost 70% of traffic via the blog
  • The blog had about 90 posts written in about 6 months. Many were news-style or off-topic posts (government schemes, Vastu/décor tips, general news) written to get traffic.

For now, all blogs are unpublished. As of now, the question is, what should I have to do to resolve this issue and get Google to reconsider my page See We DonT have Blog Catgory Author is it reason because i am RewritinG the 3 blog Also but still google reject it now i need to Accurate Suggestion from your side. If anyone is facing this kind of issue, how do I resolve it

This doesn't add up. I have many sites posting >90 posts a month without issues, and these will be mainly automatically paraphrased from existing sources. 90 posts in 6 months is 1 post every 2 days - hardly scaled content. Are you sure you weren't hacked, and someone managed to publish bulk content on your site without it being visible in the main categories?

i would exercise caution in restoring all 90 posts when i had just rewritten a handful of them.i would determine what kind of conttent was really useful and relevant to my website nd build on that.irrelevant topics could have attracted visitors before but could also have made my blog seem scattered.

Rewriting a few posts may not be enough if the main issue is scaled or off-topic content. I'd review the whole blog against Google's manual action details, remove content that doesn't serve the site's audience, and only submit reconsideration once the underlying problems are fixed.

perhaps the problem is not so much the content as the general pattern of the blog.i would concentrate on ensuring that each individual post is relevant nd informative about the topic of the blog rather than writing posts for no other reason but to increase traffic. additionally, please look at the actual reassons given by google first.

search for any hacked web pages and unusual URL addresses since sometimes there may be some posting of content without your consent.
have you checked this from your google search console? Or is it happening on all the blog pages?

What exactly did you include in the reconsideration request? Google expects more than a statement that the content was rewritten. Document which URLs were removed, what caused the violations, and what changes you've made to prevent them from happening again. The request needs to show that the underlying spam issues have been resolved.

I agree with Steptoe and ryanmcarter that the reconsideration request needs more than rewriting three posts. With only the /blog/ section affected, I would first check Search Console for the exact URLs listed in the manual action and for any hacked or unexpected URLs, because that helps separate a content problem from a security problem.

After that, I would audit all 90 posts before republishing any of them, as Alice9090 suggested. Keep only the posts that match the main topic of the site and that give a clear reason for a reader to stay on the page, and remove or noindex the rest until they are properly rewritten. Restoring everything at once would make it hard to show Google what actually changed.

For the next request, I would list the URLs that were removed, the URLs that were rewritten, the cause you found, and the checks you will run before publishing new posts. A missing blog category or author by itself is unlikely to explain a major spam action, so I would treat that as a cleanup item, not the main fix. The main fix is showing that the off topic and low value pattern is gone.

Don’t just rewrite a few posts; audit the entire blog and remove scaled, scraped, off-topic, or low-value content. Add genuinely helpful original content with clear authorship, then submit a reconsideration request only after fixing all issues mentioned in the manual action.

Rewriting a few posts may not be enough. Review the manual action details, remove unrelated or scraped content, fix any cloaking or scaled-content issues, and request reconsideration only after addressing the root causes.

One point that may explain the repeated rejections is that, with everything unpublished, a reviewer has nothing clean to verify. I would not send another request from an empty blog. Instead, republish only a small, cleaned core set, perhaps ten to fifteen posts that are on topic for the site, genuinely original, and clearly categorized with an author, and keep everything else offline until it has been rewritten or removed. Before that, check the cloaking part specifically: look for anything that shows different content to Googlebot than to a visitor, such as old redirects, hidden text, or a compromised plugin or theme, and use the URL inspection tool to see what Google actually fetched. A missing category or author alone is unlikely to cause a major spam action, so treat that as cleanup, not the main fix. When you do request reconsideration again, show the before and after clearly: which URLs were deleted, which were rewritten, what caused the pattern, and what check you will run before any new post goes live.

i have a blog that was de-indexed this way by google... but im still getting attention from chatgpt and google. i have my own product which usually makes this system work. if you dont have your own product, and are selling ads, that wont be good enough

generally your content should be different from others and reflect your individual thinking, perspective, experience, opinions. i try to do that but i think the penalties are not enough to make it unprofitable.

that said, i reduced the number of articles i create to about 1 a day and try to inject my own input. behave like a real blog/web owner

When you say “unpublished,” are the old post URLs actually unavailable, or just hidden from the blog page? Try opening a few directly while logged out. Also, could you share the exact manual action message with private details removed? That would help avoid guessing at the cause.

from what i've seen, reconsiderations need the receipts lol, just saying you fixed it never works. listing the urls removed or rewritten with what was wrong makes it way stronger imo
