Want to learn more SEO

Hi everyone i’m new to SEO. Just finished some online courses (moz, neil) and want some advices.
Here is what’s on my mind and what i know:
1- Keyword research( using kw or serps to analyse competitors)
2- Clusters and Pillars first to avoid kannibalisation
3- meta title / description should be optimised for the primary keyword (image as well)
4 - create internal linking between posts
5 - External linking to Gain authority
I want to learn deeper and get if possible some real life scenarios(case studies) if anyone can help me learn the right way. Thanks.
You’ve got a solid foundation. i’d focus next on search intent, technical SEO, and analyzing why competing pages rank. working through a real site audit and tracking results over time can teach you a lot beyond courses.

it would also be worthwhile spending some time learning how to interpret google search console correctly. occasionally, a page will receive impressions from keywords which were never even considered as targetting possibilities nd such information can help u improve ur content.it seems to me that practical experience is more instructive than going through SEO checklists only.have u begun monitoring any website in google search console?

You’ve got a good foundation. Now, focus next on technical SEO, analyzing search intent, and learning to interpret Google Search Console data. One best option is to pick one low-competition keyword, publish a genuinely helpful article, and track its impressions, clicks, and rankings over 2=3 months. Then try improving it based on actual data.

Great advice! Where do you suggest one to learn SEO if most or all other traditional methods "don't work"?
Why did you try to say that traditional methods don't work? The method itself can definitely change. But if you were referring to the strategy, then no—99% of strategies still work. Exact match domains work. PBNs work. Tiered link building is my favorite and the easiest for me, and it works. 301 redirects work. Doorway sites work. If you look into different niches and see the specific strategies people use to dominate them, all of those are working.

Sure, if you look strictly at the method, the way you execute it might change. If you used to create content by scraping and rewriting, now we write it using AI, humanize it, and reduce AI footprints. If we used to buy domains from one place back then, we might get them from somewhere else now. But the core strategy is exactly the same.

If you could explain what you actually meant and what you were trying to convey with "traditional methods don't work," I think we could get a much better answer. A common trap a lot of people fall into is reading old posts and assuming those strategies are outdated. In reality, strategies rarely become outdated. They almost never do.

I have a friend who strictly does churn and burn, and some of his sites are years old. I have personal sites like that too. However, my focus is heavily on tiered link building because it's so easy for me to automate. I have all the necessary tools for it like proxies , servers , fully automated GSA workflow , running llm on a headless server for free of charge content gens etc and now agentics since they are around. There are so many strategies out there. Pick what you suits and find then excute.

Some people say that faceless YouTube channels don't work, while they work perfectly fine for others. Some people say they can't rank AI content, yet others are ranking it without any issues. The reason for all of this comes down to one thing: the way they execute it. Not everything works for everyone. You need to pick a strategy and then figure out the method to actually do it. The strategy is one thing, and the method is another.

That being said, the best place to learn SEO is honestly here, Black Hat World as here everyone shares, but still there's traps since some are just saying, bot replies, trying to sell stuff, kind of things I hate it. Stay off from Reddit subs ( but use reddit as para site and works great lol) or anything run on mainstream or big names since many don't know what they are even doing.

You have a solid foundation to start with i am still learning about Seo but i think that developing a website is one of the most practical methods of learning all the connections case studies are great but putting what you learn into practice teaches you a lot more.

You’re on the right track! I’d recommend learning technical SEO, search intent, topical authority, link building, and content optimization next. Also, practice on a real website and track results in Google Search Console. Real-world testing teaches you much more than courses alone.
