Has anyone dealt with this before?
I removed a product from my website, but its ads are still getting traffic. I am not sure If I missed something in the campaign settings.
How can I stop ads for a product that is no longer available.

If you use a product feed, make sure the removed item is also deleted or excluded there. Updating the website alone may not stop its ads.

Stop ads relating to products no longer available, delete links to old products, and point consumers in a new direction through landing pages.

Take a break from those advertisements, delete old links, and divert your website traffic to alternatives to save money.

Are these dynamic ads or regular search ads? If it's dynamic, check the product feed. If it's a normal campaign, pause the ad or remove the old URL from the assets.

Pause the ads associated with the product, remove the product from shopping feeds, and redirect old links to prevent wastage of your budget.

Ad-blocking, deleting the product from your shopping feed, and changing outdated URLs will keep you safe from bad traffic.

Pause the product ad first and check if there are any other active ads pointing to the same URL.

Check your Ads Manager, the ad might still be active even after removing the product from your site.

this is something I have also faced before nd it does not necessarily mean that once you remove the product from your website, the ads will also be removed. there could be a listing available already on your product feed or ads could already be running for that particular URL. are you running google shopping ads or meta ads?

Make sure the product is removed from all campaigns, not just the website.
Sure, people often ignore active ads and scheduled campaigns. I would double check the feed, ad account, and any automated campaigns too, to avoid further problems.
