Has anyone else noticed old content sites of yours with Man-written content Ranking way higher now?

Manual content is not always better by default. Some AI articles are useful too if they are properly edited.

and by man, i mean Manually written lol

My old sites are top of search now suddenly because of the rating on 'Non-Ai' assisted content i guess
Yes and if you use AI to write your articles the best way to keep your rankings is to humanize the AI content.

Could be a mix of factors rather than simply being non-AI content. Helpful, original articles with real experience may be gaining traction, but I’d compare Search Console data before drawing conclusions.

I have noticed something similar with some older sites, but I wouldn't directly assume it's because the content was manually written. I think content quality, topical relevance, backlinks, and the overall site's history can all play a role. Google has also made it clear that it focuses on helpful content rather than whether AI was used to write it.

That said, manually written content often has real experiences and small details that generic AI content tends to miss. It would be interesting to compare the old pages with newer AI assisted content and see what's actually making the difference.

Yes, I’ve noticed that well-written, genuinely helpful content can still perform strongly. I don’t think it’s simply about AI vs. human writing; content quality, originality, relevance, and user experience matter more.

I've noticed that older content can perform better when it matches search intent and provides useful, updated information.

Many users and website administrators have observed that older posts, long-standing experience-sharing articles, or discussions from actual communities tend to maintain or even improve their rankings better than content generated by machines.

About to put it to the test this week. Stay tuned.

Going to pop out an HTML site.
