Is anyone else getting the pop up in their ads manager "Verify who's behind your ads before it's required" ?

All of sudden im getting this message soon as a I open my ads manager alot recently.
Knowing meta right now im afraid they can disable my ad account for this dumb reason to verify.

The exact message:
"Verify who's behind your ads before it's required
Get ahead of required verification so your ads don't pause. It's free and takes a few minutes."

If you did verify, what do you need to verify?

it appears that meta is increasing verification processes recently.i would go through the account quality section nd complete it via the official ad manager if necessary, just to prevent any problems at the last minute. anyone knows what documentts do they require?
 
Yes, I’m seeing people talk about this too. It’s best to check your Ads Manager for any details about the notice and see if any action is needed

however i would still be cautious about this, particularly if this account was running any active campaigns.the tone seems to indicate that early verification may not be reqquired just yet, although meta’s rules can be somewhat unpredictable. wondering if they are targeting all accounts or just those who spend regularly?
 
That’s right. I’ve encountered this as well specifically, the account verification process required me to set up fingerprint and Face ID authentication.
 
I think this could be a routine advertiser verification request, not necessarily a sign that your account is in trouble. They may ask for personal or business details, ID documents and information about who pays for the ads.

A lot of people have noticed this, I think Meta is getting stricter by the day.

Got this same popup recently. It's just Meta rolling out verification before it becomes mandatory not a warning shot. Verified mine in like 5 mins and the nagging stopped. Better to do it on your terms than wait for them to pause everything
 
Meta's increasingly stringent account verification process is causing many to worry about the impact on their ongoing advertising campaigns.
 
This has been for a while now, not all accounts are effected.

My advice, just ignore it.

Zero relation so far has been found that it actually does anything. (for now)
 
Meta usually asks for a government ID or business details just to confirm who owns the ads and who’s paying for them. It’s a routine check, not necessarily a warning sign.
