Is daily uploading still effective, or is it better to publish fewer videos with better research, editing and thumbnails? What has worked for you?

Daily uploads keep the upload schedule filled, but I get more consistent growth when I post three times a week and create thumbnails in Canva at 1280x720. I also use TubeBuddy to tag each video and schedule the release, which helps the audience know when to expect new content.

Of course it is still effective as youtube understands that your content is fresh.

Quality matters more than daily uploads. A consistent schedule helps, but strong topics, thumbnails, and viewer retention are what I'd prioritize. Publish as often as you can maintain quality, then use Analytics to find the cadence your audience responds to.

I prefer to post less, but spend more time on each video... I don't think uploading every day helps that much. I was doing that for around two months, and when you try to keep that pace, you end up sacrificing the research, the editing, or even the thumbnails of the videos...

For me, it's better to upload 2 or 3 good videos per week than seven!... Just to post something every day? You are going to end up with too much generic content, I don't know...

At the end, you need people to click, stay watching the video, and want to watch another one after that... Of course, I also wouldn't go weeks without posting. I would try to find a pace that you can maintain without affecting the quality. Consistency matters!

Daily uploads can help, but only if you can keep the quality decent. I'd rather post 3 solid videos a week than rush something every day just to stay consistent.

Constant daily uploads will wear you out and also destroy ur CTR if there is poor quality content being uploaded. quantity is no longer important the quality of your video will always prevail against poor quality content in bulk.

Research your audience, then determine the most appropriate posting strategy, simply posting frequently without a clear purpose or direction won’t yield significant results.

honestly i would use the practice of uploading on a daily basis as a testing ground rather than an ultimate rule.it allows u to observe what people like nd disslike watching.as soon as u know what is going on, u could work on creating video materials in accordance with this knowledge.

I think posting the same type of content on a daily basis is quite boring. If it were me, I would focus more on the content and put extra care into the thumbnails.

The most effective posting frequency depends on understanding your audience; maintaining consistent quality will lead to more sustainable growth.

From my experience, uploading daily automatically guarantees faster growth. Consistency is important, but content quality and audience retention matter more.

I'd suggest starting with 2–3 well-researched videos per week, focusing on engaging topics, strong thumbnails, and titles.
Once you understand what your audience enjoys, you can increase the upload frequency without compromising quality.

i am currently running a shorts youtube channel. from my side regular uploads is important for grow your channels. after a specific period it not that much important. but in channel growing time its important. and video editing, good thambnails, good content quality is your main wealth.

One of my friends used to upload daily at the same time and his videos were getting more views. But yeah, video quality matters too.

I think video length also matters. A useful 5 minute video can do better than a long video with too much filler.
