Tumblr is still great for fan edits, theories, and long character discussions, especially in niche fandoms.

There are many thriving fandoms on Tumblr. I think it’s a great platform for building and growing your own fandoms.

Discord is built for a communities you already have it's not for discovery. There’s no search or algorithm putting you in front of strangers so you only reach people who already joined your server. But what actually works is finding people where they're already looking like on Reddit or Twitter X whatever or tumblr tags etc. and moving the warm ones into discord after

Tumblr hasn’t disappeared from fandom culture it’s just less dominant than it used to be. It’s still a good home for niche communities and detailed discussions, while newer platforms are better for quick discovery and real-time interaction.

Yes offcourse tumblr still have a lot of value if you have for fandoms
