My YouTube channel has been restricted, and I want to create a new one. What should I do, especially since I want to monetize my videos and earn money from them?

Do I need a Google account to create a YouTube channel? Does YouTube require ID verification before I can withdraw my earnings?

Honestly, I feel a bit lost and confused about where to start, so I would really appreciate any guidance or advice!

Just go off and make money doing something else for the time being. When the time comes you have to upgrade your os and hard drive, you will have a new pc and software, and you can create a new account again and register it to a business entity if you need to get paid from it. In the mean time, go else where and tried not to get so easily banned. "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me."

before embarking on ur new adventure, ascerttain whether utube has limited particular services or closed down ur whole channel. this will be of great importance when determining ur next step. at this point, u will have a chance to plan for the content u will create and the kind of revenue u will generate from it.

So, I once spammed from my personal account, for my own channel. They suspended it in 2022 same year, but they restored it in 2026 after deleting 100 brand channels on it. I requested them again and again and then done. Check for the policies fix error and then reapply or reach to support or on x you can give it a try

you after 2022 if revert to that email will be useless so get a new channel start from scratch, they hardly can identify the same person

Well, the most assured way to do that is by using an anti detect browser. Choose either ads power or dolphin anti. When you do that, choose a good proxy from your own country, preferably from your own city if it's possible. So create a new antidetect browser profile and in the first few days just use it like someone usually use, or just import cookies if you have then. After that, if you really want to go straight for the channel, just buy an aged channel. Access it in the beginning, see some videos from other channels, interact with then for some time, and then upload your video.

Nowadays yt have some requirements that you need to reach to begin monetizing, but once you begin posting it's not really something difficult to reach.

you should ask them the reason and if id verificatin is required then do it.

Yes ID verification is necessary for monetization and if you want to start with a new channel, a new gmail, device and IP address is needed. If the channel idetifies they will suspend the second one as well.

For most parts, you need a Google account to run a YT channel. Monetisation is handled through Adsense and verifications can be required before you can start getting your earnings, usually.
You'll probably wanna get to the bottom of the restriction in the first place and file an appeal if you can. That'll give you a better grasp on where to go from there without compromising your setup and affecting your current or future accounts on that setup. Also make sure you've done the device and session isolation setups, if needed.

Adsense requires KYC, so if your previous account had a verified account you’re SOL and will get flagged again if you’re using the same docs for the new account, other than that it’s an easy fix by simply changing up your IP/email.

Did you talk to the support and did you appeal? Whtywas your channel restricted/suspended?

The restriction will expire, and your account will return to normal. I’d advise against rushing to create a new channel, especially in such a competitive environment as this.

Yeah you need a new Google account. no way around that. also you need id verification to get paid once you have $10 in earnings. I suppose you create a new account in a fresh device or new anti detect browser with a new proxy IP. for content, don't reuse your old topics.

Before starting another channel, make sure the restriction does not prevent you from creating or using a new one.
Yeah, it’s definitely better to see the details of restrictions first. opening up another channel without solving the problem may result in even more difficulties, thus, it is better to know about restrictions first.

Submit a formal appeal first because if you just set up a fresh channel on the same device or ip, google will flag it for ban evasion during adsense verification.

You first need to find out why your old channel was restricted; otherwise, the same issue will arise with a new one. You need a Google account to create a YouTube channel.

I think you Have to avoid YouTube restrictions policy ever.always try to use same IP with single device. And fix your restrictions in youtube studio by submit essential documents. Thanks

Take a breath, it's fixable. Let me go through it step by step:

1. First, check what exactly happened to your channel.

"Restricted" can mean a strike or a temporary limit (you can't upload for 1–2 weeks) – that expires on its own. "Terminated" is different. Look at the email from YouTube or at YouTube Studio > Channel status. If it's only a strike, don't create a new channel – just wait it out and avoid another strike.

2. If the channel was terminated, be careful.

YouTube doesn't allow terminated users to create new channels, and it actively links accounts (same phone number, recovery email, AdSense, payment method, device). A new channel connected to a terminated one usually gets terminated too – often right after it grows. So appeal first from YouTube Studio, once, short and factual.

3. Yes, you need a Google account.

Every channel sits on a Google account. Use a clean one with its own recovery email and turn on 2FA from day one.

4. Monetization (YouTube Partner Program).

You need roughly 1,000 subscribers + 4,000 public watch hours in 12 months, or 1,000 subs + 10M Shorts views in 90 days. There's also a lower tier (500 subs) for fan funding features. Check the YPP page for your country, the numbers can differ.

5. Getting paid = AdSense, and yes, it verifies you.

You link one AdSense account to the channel. Before payouts, Google usually asks for identity verification (ID), a PIN sent to your address, and tax info. Payment starts once you reach the payout threshold. Important: it's one AdSense per person – if your old AdSense was disabled, the new channel can't use it.

My advice: find out if it's a strike or a termination first. If it's just a strike, keep the channel – a channel with history is worth more than a fresh one.

What does the email from YouTube say exactly?
