Yeah, such sad news. A brilliant actor and a great person, a long-time advocate for anti-domestic violence charities.

Everyone will mention Star Trek and X-Men, but I think this is my favourite role of his, but VERY different from what he was best known for. Awesome, awesome film, too.

 
RIP Patrick Stewart. His quote "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life" honestly did change my perspective on things when I first heard it. He will be missed :(

A real loss if real. Stewart had that rare presence where even a quiet line carried weight. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick.
