[GUIDE] Ultimate PBN Guide v2.0

Nice guide, but it's missing the stuff I was very curious about.

It's been a discussion for a while whether the power of a domain resets if it gets dropped, transferred, whatever. So my question is:

Say I buy a domain that just dropped (dropped catched) and restore the original content back, when do I link out?

Expired = not dropped yet (auctions, closeouts, etc.)
Dropped = domain went through the full lifecycle and anyone can register it

Yeah, there are some that say that the link equity gets a hit once a domain is fully dropped and that authority gets a partial reset. Personally, we haven't seen it - and even if, the hit is fairly low and some link equity will still pass. For the $10 bucks register fee it's a no brainer in that case.

BUT, we also saw and still see the best results from auction domains or direct acquisitions, where the domain is still live AND indexed (see the note about indexation in the guide). Of course, this means a much higher price tag per domain - but that's the name of the game.

Tbh, dropped domains are rare to find these days.
Top TLDs >> almost impossible.
ccTLDs >> you can find some rare ones that are great (e.g. in DE/DK/NL/FI Serps).

So if you caught a nice dropped domain -> get it built, rebuilt the slugs that have links, let it index, then link out. Don't overthink it too much.

Thanks for the reply, a few more notes.

What I usually do is bid on a drop-catcher service, they are not cheap, the last one winning bid was $1200, so it’s not like they’ve been expired for a long time, but still dropped. DR 45+ RD200+.

The drop-catcher catches them immediately and then I pay them the price, this usually means that the domain was never deindexed, only 4 out of 16 domains I bought were deindexed and they indexed in like 1hr when I restored them.

Also I hosted them on PriorityProspect, with random IPs, some via Cloudflare. Not sure if this is also a good idea?

One add to the domain selection part: before buying, check Wayback for the last 2-3 years before the drop. Casino, pharma or a language switch there is the most common reason a PBN domain ends up doing nothing.

Think its mentioned here :)

2. Check the domain history

Make sure the domain was never used as a PBN or for anything spammy.
Use Archive.org and spot-check snapshots across the years. Red flags: Chinese/Japanese spam, casino, pharma, adult, sudden topic switches, spun content. Also check how often it's dropped — domains that have expired and been re-registered several times often have damaged history.
Takeaway: never used for a PBN or anything spammy? Good to go.

But yeah, definitely one of the key steps.

I see most of you praise this "guide". Beside some small self promotion it contains the worst advice about building PBNs....the use of AI (claude) and Astro.

Using this guide 100% will get you a penalty. The reason is quite obvious AI footprints. If you want to test yourself go to claude and ask it to write a basic php script. Download the script and upload it to Chatgpt and ask it to tell you what AI wrote that php script. 9 out of 10 times it will guess the exact AI you used. You can even throw qwen, deepseek, copilot in the mix it won't matter. All of them made an agreement to insert footprints to stop general abuse and crime using AI.

Second fatal mistake. Using Astro. The ideea of a PBN site is to get mixed in the crowd and be really hard for G algorithms to pinpoint. Using Astro is like painting a bullseye on your website. Why you ask....because Astro is related with heavy AI use and manipulation and its used by people with technical skills that can be used to manipulate rankings....G likes Becky websites that make pink muffins and delicious brownies not a 40 years old Dave that lives in his parents basement and use AI and Astro to automate fapping breaks websites.

Be smart, there is a lot of shit on BHW lately.

As i know Google doesnt penalize to use AI, only where there is no value to article and massive scale of AI comtent as i know and i think should be same for php and themes, correct me if I am wrong

While it does make sense at first you gotta realize that almost every company incl. big enterprises are now switching to building website using Astro and Claude.

So it kinda became a Cloudflare situation, if everyone is using it, it's not really a footprint.

Hi @janist , you mentioned to skip GSC and GA4, is there a strong case to skip these two or better to prevent penalization by Google?

Thanks

I enjoy feedback. But your low-level insults are not really needed.

Also you speak in very absolute terms. Did you test your hypothesis?

Google's spam policies don't mention frameworks at all. Scaled content abuse targets low-value pages, regardless of how they were produced.

When you use it not to manipulate ranking but in this case OP suggested it's a great idea to use AI to build PBNs to manipulate rankings.

Until Astro is used by most webmaster it's not safe for PBNs.

Don't take it personally but your guide is total crap....I usually test stuff before I speak....for all the members that read this thread....DO NOT use anything AI related to try manipulate rankings and/or AI citations.

If you want to really use AI for this, use obliterated models locally but this also comes with a set of it's own problems.

New bible for PBNs just dropped, it was a nice read sir thank you
