Is reddit premium much safer than normal reddit?

I got many of my reddit premium accounts banned back in the day

It does have perks with the awards though

Reddit Premium only removes ads and gives you a badge, it doesn't protect you from the site's automated ban system.
I've been running Mullvad on port 443 and rotating every 2 hours and it cuts bans down to about one a week, but it's still not a guarantee.

Reddit seems to give Premium accounts some advantages, but you can still get suspended if you seriously violate the rules. I upgraded to Premium and avoid posting promotional content, so my account has been running very smoothly.

Many people complain about their accounts being suspended or their posts being removed, but they often ignore Reddit’s policies, repeatedly violate the rules, and look for ways to get around them. Remember, Reddit is smart enough to recognize when you’re trying to circumvent its rules.

premium won't change anything about your IP or browser. one thing i'd check with that antidetect setup is whether DNS or WebRTC is exposing a different connection from the proxy. people spend money changing proxies when sometimes the problem is elsewhere in their setup.

its a myth, it wont.

Unless you are an actual celebrity with an account, MOD, or similar you would be subject to easy bans. a well known actor does post frequently about vets on a handful of subs with an ulterior motive.

Reddit Premium doesn't protect accounts from bans; it mainly adds features like ad-free browsing. Repeated bans may be linked to Reddit's enforcement rules, so I'd review the notices and appeal if you think they're mistaken rather than relying on proxies or antidetect browsers.
