With search algorithms constantly evolving, I'm curious to know what link-building strategies are delivering the best results in 2026.

Are guest posts still providing strong ROI, or are you seeing better results from digital PR, niche edits, authority partnerships, or other approaches?

Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

what i experienced niche based guest posting is the best strategy to build quality link and to get genuine results

I've seen how just using one link building method isn't as effective anymore. I usually focus on building relationships and getting links from sites that are genuinely relevant to the niche. Guest posts still work when the quality is there but a mix of authority mentions, partnerships and strong content tends to produce more consistent results.

Digital PR and high end editorial links are carrying the highest ROI right now because they survive the core updates. Guest posts still work but only if the site has real, steady organic traffic. Niche edits on aged, contextual pages are giving the fastest ranking boosts lately.

Relevance beats tactics. A few trusted niche relevant links out perform dozens of generics links.

In my experience, relevance and editorial quality matter more than the specific tactic.
Digital PR and genuine authority mentions tend to deliver the strongest long-term value, while niche-relevant guest posts still work well when they're published on real, trusted sites with engaged audiences. Strategic partnerships and naturally earned links have also become increasingly valuable. The approaches losing effectiveness are mass outreach, low-quality guest post networks, and links built purely for SEO. I'd rather earn a handful of highly relevant editorial links than dozens of easy ones.

Being active in industry communities and sharing useful insights has helped me connect with clients more than cold outreach alone.

i believe that making sure the clients know what is happening with their money is essential.it is true that not all clients understand rankings but it is certtain that they are interested in leads, calls nd sales.if u can relate ur SEO efforts to this nd update them regularly, then they will stay.

For me, relevance matters more than DA or DR. Guest posts can still work, but I’d rather focus on sites with relevant content and actual traffic. Quality links have made more sense in the long run.

I think niche-relevant guest posts and digital PR still work well when the sites have real traffic and quality content. Building long-term relationships with clients and showing clear results is also key to getting consistent SEO work.

i think guest posts still work when they’re placed on relevant sites with real traffic Digital PR is worth exploring too but it usually takes more effort and budget for consistent clients I’d focus on results and building long-term relationships rather than just selling links

as long as the website is relevant nd gets traffic guest posting will definitely work; I am less concerned about the DR of that site. In order to retain clients, results matter more than ranking reports.

having regular SEO clients depends on earning their trust and proving the results of your work when it comes to link building it is still possible to make use of guest posting as long as websites are relevant and receive organic traffic digital PR and niche edits can help too, yet again i would do it depending on a particular client

One thing worth checking is how many outbound links a site adds to each article because even a strong domain can lose value as a placement if every post is packed with paid links.

when it comes to consistent clients, I would pay more attention to the results that SEO can bring in terms of leads/sales rather than rankings. when it comes to link building, I still find guest posting acceptable as long as we talk about traffic nd relevance to the niche, yet I wouldn’t take DR into account as a single metric. Acquiring clients is one thing, retaining them is another.

Looking at the post title, perhaps OP's answer was "create a keyword rich post at BHW" lol.
LOL, I wouldn’t be surprised, but a good title with keywords will take you so far. If the content of the post is not useful or doesn’t generate any meaningful discussion, then no one will hang around anyway.
