Hey yall,

we are using ISPs for almost all our threads accounts and it goes great. BUT for reels they just dont really hit. The audience is mostly only turkye or other europeans and only 20-30% US even tho its english content. Also the more US we have mostly the worse the reels are. Is a mobile proxy better tho for targetting citys? For example you get one set up in a more small/big city so nothing like NYC or Miami or idk. Does the traffic then rather come from there? And maybe then ISPs are worse since they share the same audience with so many others who run cheap traffic? Maybe this is just a myth tho it just made me curious cause i was thinking how ig got the suggested followings and all of that for example. Also since meta strictly says for IG that who YOU follow doesnt train your target niche THO most people do it. Is it just a myth?

ISPs are tricky cus you only usually get a subset of the subnet your provider gave you. So other people on the subnet might be tanking the reputation of the subnet. Mobile is better because of CGNAT. I would try with mobile proxies and see if it helps any
didnt make a difference ty for the comment tho

yeah agree, I tested what you texted, mobile works very well (I tested from floppydata and decodo). ISPs also works but it's 50% 50%, really tricky

since you already tested mobile proxies and didn't see any difference, i'd stop chasing the IP for now. a US mobile IP doesn't mean Instagram will suddenly push your reels to US viewers. the IP is only one signal and the audience depends on much more than that.

hmm.. ISP proxies are fine for text-based platforms like Threads, but Reels algorithms smell data center instantly bro. that's why your English content is getting pushed to random GEOs like Turkey. if u wanna focus on real US Reels traction -> use clean US 4G/5G proxies. besides, ignore Meta's official PR guidelines, following and engaging with accounts in ur exact niche does prime your account's seed vector graph
