How to get other pinterest users to post in group board you make?

You could start with a few smaller boards around specific topics instead of putting everything into one big board. That makes it easier for people to find something they're interested in and contribute relevant pins. Once you see which topics get more activity, you can focus on growing those.

Users should also learn about the idea behind joining group boards. Rarely does anyone visit the profile, so adding information about your idea/project would be extremely appropriate)
Indeed, having an obvious profile is helpful for understanding what you do and why they should get involved. Even if there are not that many visits to your profile, it still adds legitimacy to your project.

You don’t necessarily need a big following to start. I’d reach out to creators in the same niche, explain the community idea, and invite a few active people first. Give them a reason to contribute, like sharing useful content and getting exposure, then build trust before directing people to your own site.
it makes more sense to start with a handful of active members rather than try to build up a large community right away. my plan would be to first establish some meaningful discussions, and then market the website.
