and by man, i mean Manually written lol

My old sites are top of search now suddenly because of the rating on 'Non-Ai' assisted content i guess

Your bias is not true. AI writes better than some people, and it does not matter the age of an old content, if it's badly written, whether it's humanly written or AI, it won't rank for competitive kws

They have filters that detect if it's AI-written and that stuff is pretty darn accurate

My point is that humanely written content does not automatically become good quality over AIs.

Do you have any experience with your own sites or are you just arguing about a point beyond this topic for no reason?

I'm asking for REAL EXPERIENCE of your own sites, not your opinion

I think he’s right on some level. The current tools for detecting AI-generated content just aren't accurate enough. If Google is even doing this, they're probably using some kind of partial scoring system for text analysis. Honestly, they'd have to, otherwise, a huge chunk of the internet would just tank in the rankings.

Do you have any websites? old vs new?

did the rankings improve around specific date and was it across all old pages or just some? and did your AI assisted pages drop at the same time?
this would help knowing whether content type or site age made a difference.

My Ai Assisted pages never had have stability. The rank seems to come and go.

The HTML sites are steady at #1 or #2 and they weren't even ranking front page before for their EMD keywords

The actual change, I'm not sure when but I would say within the last 3-4 months

1 site has ai-assisted content since a recent layout change but 90% of the site is old, html pages... handwritten content and it's killing it right now

Thank you for the details. your 3 or 4 months window overlaps the August and September spam updates so I believe your site passed spam updates and not AI detection.
If you check GSC performance by date for the HTML sites do you see a jump around either of those dates?

I dont know exact dates.

I'm just guessing around the time I noticed it and really ignored it until I started handling news production again here recently.

Unfortunately, I dont have GSC installed on the sites completely but I can see some of the index pages of subcategories ranking in search for some nice keyword terms

Ah Ok well thanks for being upfront. it might be worth adding GSC to those sites now even though it wont show the past so you will have real data for the next updates.
Then you can see whether those subcategory pages keep their rankings or bounce like the AI ones.

In all seriousnes, I would not simply accept the assumption that it is the right time to test the AI becuz the HTML pages are ranking higher. the content or structure of the HTML page might be superior. The spam algorithm might have worked as well, but there is no data to prove the same using the google search console.

a number of different possibilitie might exist, including the way pages have been structured and whether they actually serve the search intent of the users. It would be hard to say that it is becuz they were made by humans. I would like to see the data generated by GSC for a period of a few months.

I def used a similiar strucutre on all the sites I made in HTML.

I liked my format.

I do wonder what would happen if someone tested making a large scale HTML site with AI content.

I'm sure of what I see.

In fact the only site that tops one of my HTML sites is one of the biggest youtuber's instagram profiles from the actual high traffic volume nice.

Wondering if I should expand the site.

this could definitely merit further exploration; however, I would do some testing on a few pages relating to this first before fully expanding the site. Is this new keyword ranking from the same HTML structure, or have other type of pages also ranked?
