Hi everyone, I have a question about starting a new blog. How often do you think a new blog should publish articles each week? Is it better to post a few articles and focus on quality or publish more often? I would like to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I would emphasize quality and consistency over daily posting just three to five thoroughly researched articles per week would make a great beginning point provided they discuss relevant topics and are valuable for readers.

For a new blog, publishing 2 to 4 quality articles per week is a good starting point. Focus on useful content, keyword research, and related topics rather than quantity. Consistent publishing helps build topical authority over time.

For a new blog I'd be aiming for 2 or 3 properly researched articles per week rather than just publishing every day to keep the output going.

Focus on a specific niche, target the relevant keywords and make each article genuinely more useful than what's already ranking. Build internal links between the related posts and of course update them as you find out what gets the impressions and what gets the clicks.

Once you have a repeatable process without any loss in quality you can then start to increase your publishing frequency. Consistency helps with execution but simply publishing more won't necessarily result in better rankings.

For a new blog, aim for 2/4 quality articles per week if your time allows. Prioritize solid keyword research, useful content, and topical relevance over volume. Consistency matters, but building topical authority takes time.

a content calender can help you a lot with this. you can relate topics is advance instead of rushing to publish something every few days.

I wouldnt want to set a weekly quota jst now but rather focus on doing justice to one topic cluster first and see which pages begins to make impressions.

in this respect i would concentrate on discussing one topic at a time nd not stress myself over meeting certain numbers each week.it is enough to post at least one or two helpful articles, which answer different questions reggarding one nd the same topic. after finding a way of working that does not influence the quality, one can always post more.

I would start with few articles covering the main topic and related questions. then I would expand its subtopics and link related articles to build strong content cluster.
No good point publishing generic content and more if the content doesnt match search intent.

I suppose I will start posting 1-2 gud articles per week nd see how it goes. It is much better to post something really useful rather than do it in a rush to reach the number.
It become quite clear from some impressions in google search console which topics should be written about more.

Publishing frequency matters less if several articles end up targeting the same search intent. Before writing a new post, check whether an existing article already answers that query. Expanding the existing page may be more useful than creating another similar URL.

I'd publish at a pace I can keep up with, then expand into related questions around the main topic. A smaller set of useful, well-linked articles is better than rushing out posts just to fill the calendar.

I’d recommend focusing on quality over quantity. Start with 2–3 well-researched articles per week and maintain consistency. High-quality, helpful content is more valuable than publishing frequently just for the sake of it.

I completely agree with the generic 2-4 posts per week idea. But to be honest, it also depends on niche and the topic coverage. Some niches require consistent posting, it can up to more than 4 blogs also. Also, updates matter. So supposedly if you are writing about taxes and a lot of of updates are happening around taxes in your country, you need to cover them (while being mindful of quality). You cannot sacrifice quality. That is the essence.

While consistency matters, many people dilute their quality just to post more. You'd be okay posting 1 per week if it's well researched and well written rather than posting 4 per week that helps no one.

i would nt necessarily stick with a fixed number per week in my opinion start off by building up the key questions people have regarding one topics and then fill in the gaps from there

I would selects some articles on the same sub topic post them in a consistent manner and analyses which ones receive impressions to move onto the next topic.

Your website probably won't even get indexed if you publish more than 4 articles in a week.
You should publish 2-3 articles per week, and that's more than enough.
You should also publish your articles at different times throughout the week.

If you're writing really good content, it's hard to produce more than 2-3 quality articles per week,(at least for me).

When building a new blog, I usually publish 3–5 articles per day during the first three months. After that, if the blog is performing well, I reduce the publishing frequency and focus more on SEO and maintaining the blog’s stability.
