What Should I Check First in Google Analytics for My Blog?

In my experience, looking at where traffic comes from and using that as a basis for planning further steps helps improve user conversion.

Start with traffic sources, landing pages, engagement, and key conversions. Check which articles attract visitors and where they come from, then see whether those visitors take meaningful actions. Trends over time matter more than a single day's numbers.

Start with organic traffic, traffic sources, and engagement rate to see where visitors come from and how they interact with your blog. Also, track conversions to understand whether your traffic is bringing real results.

I think you should look into your traffic—where it’s coming from, which content is the most engaging, and what devices your users are using. These are fundamental yet crucial aspects for your blog.

Hi everyone,

I want to use Google Analytics to check how my blog is performing, but there are so many things to look at, lol.

Which things should I focus first to know if my blog is doing well? Should I look at visitors, traffic sources, or something else?

love to hear your suggestions. Thanks in advance!
would be interested in looking into new visitors nd repeat visitors as well.this gives u an approximate idea of how helpful ur blog post is that people come back to read it again.in addition, it will be better to see the outcomes of compparison over a longer period of time rather than just a few days.

before interpreting the numbers, i'd check that tracking works on a few different post templates. make sure page views aren't missing or being recorded twice, and test any signup event yourself. otherwise you can spend ages comparing reports that started with a setup problem.
