What if your content is good, but your site structure is the problem?
Sometimes, the problem is not your content. It may be your website structure. A good site structure helps search engines understand your pages and helps users find information easily.

What do you think matters more for SEO , content quality or site structure?

Both matter, but even useful content can get overlooked if important pages are buried too deep in the site.

Both matter, but even great content can struggle if important pages are buried or poorly linked. I'd fix navigation and internal linking first, then review content quality. SEO works best when the structure and content support each other.

I'd look at how related pages connect to each other. If visitors and Google can't easily move between relevant topics, some pages may never get much attention even when the content itself is solid.

Both matter, but even great content can underperform if key pages are hard to find. Fix navigation and internal linking first, then improve content quality. Strong SEO comes from making site structure and content work together.

Both matter, but try check site structure first if good content isn’t getting traffic.

Poor internal linking, orphan pages, and confusing navigation can make it harder for Google and users to find important pages.

Great content still needs a solid structure to perform well.

I think another thing worth checking is whether several pages are competing for the same search intent.

Think about it... you might have three well-written articles covering slightly different versions of the same question, but Google keeps switching between them in search results.

Indeed, internal linking may sometimes be overlooked. I tend to review whether or not important pages can be accessed through a few mouse clicks before considering revising contents which are already fine.

both play their roles, but i'll definitely go for checking the internal linking structure first if the well-optimized pages are not getting any impressions. Poor internal linking and pages that are buried too deep can stop the pages from being visible.

Strong content gives people a reason to visit, while good structure helps them move to the next useful page.

the first thing that should be done is to check the internal link nd see whether the necessary page are interlinked.
It would be a gud idea to find out whether the two pages are targeting the same keyword.
I would not start rewriting all the content without finding this out.

Site structure doesn't matter mate, we are in the age of AI. can fix it with one prompt.

i used to spend a week polishing one page and then wonder why nothing moved, while the rest of the site had no clear path to it. once i linked it properly from the pages that already got traffic, it started climbing without any new links. now i check the internal links first before i blame the content or build anything else.

Imo both matter but content is a greater factor in order to rank. That shouldn't stop you to linking your pages together though, because Google's crawlers can crawl them and index them easier.

I would examine the web pages that receive all the internal links and those that doesss not receive any google sometimes finds itself un able to find any path to urs most relevant content despite its publication many months ago.

Both are interdependent, but site structure sets the ceiling: high-quality content provides the ranking authority, while proper site structure ensures search engines can crawl, index, and attribute that authority to the right pages without canonical or cannibalization issues.

If your old posts are still getting traffic, link them to newer related articles so readers can find more useful information.
