For those who have grown successful channels, does most of your traffic come from YouTube Search or Suggested Videos and Browse Features? Which source is easier to build?

i think utube search is a better place to begin with as there will always be someone searrching for something. suggestions nd browse will always attract a lot of traffic. however, getting that boost will be difficult for new channels.it would be good to work on titles and thumbnails together nd find out which one is attracting viewers.

For me, Search traffic is good for new channels because people already look for that content.

Both are important. SEO helps people discover your content, while good titles, thumbnails, and audience retention can help your videos reach more people.

i believe that search could be a good place to start for the channel bcz people are already searching for something like this.but once utube knows what kind of audience u have, video recommendations will definitelly help u get more reach.i would focus on both channels but especially on thumbnails and watch time.

Search gives me most views when I use TubeBuddy to pick strong tags
Suggested videos are easier because a clear thumbnail and short hook push the video there

focus on YouTube SEO initially to capture people actively searching for your topic while optimizing thumbnails and titles to improve suggested traffic over time The best traffic mix depends on the niche and audience.

I’d focus on both, but SEO is a good starting point for new channels. Once you gain traction, Suggested Videos and Browse can bring in a lot more traffic.

Search can bring steady views for specific topics, while Suggested and Browse can take a video much further if people click and keep watching. I'd use clear titles and thumbnails, then check Analytics to see where your own views are coming from.

i think that search traffic will be much more predictable, while recommended videos may prove to be a game changer when utube begins showing ur content to the correct people.i would pay attention to those videos that drive more views, as they may be a much better inddicator of growth rather than views themselves.

Mine came from search at first then suggested videos later. I had one video that made me $20k. This was back when buying views was feasible. Not sure if it still is.

However, to achieve long term traffic growth, it's necessary to optimize thumbnails, titles, and watch duration to activate YouTube's video recommendation feature.

YouTube Search can be easier to target initially with specific keywords, while Suggested Videos and Browse can bring much larger reach. I'd optimize titles and thumbnails for both search intent and viewer interest, then use YouTube Analytics to see which traffic source actually works for your niche.
