Have you ever updated the title or thumbnail of an older video and noticed a significant increase in views? How do you decide when to make changes?

Yes, it helps when the video has received some views but still has a low click-through rate. I would try tesyting the thumbnail first and checking the results after two weeks.

Yes, I refresh older thumbnails if a topic starts trending again to make the video look current and maximize new traffic.

Yes, changing the title or thumbnail may help an old video get more views. A clear title and a good thumbnail can make people more interested in watching. It depends on the video, so results may vary.

this is true, although I would first examine the CTR before and after making this change to see whether it actually improved things. If there are impressions but not many clicks, it’s often worth testing the thumbnail.

A more appealing thumbnail can catch people's attention, while a better title can help them understand why they should watch. I would give the changes some time before judging the results.

Yep changing the title/thumbnail can help if you are getting impressions but not clicks then just try changing one thing at a time and track what is happening

Its a trick I do always. Just changing the thumbnail especially if it's appealing, gives the old video an entirely new angle which drives high click through rates. Then when you tweak the title, it's more like making your audience see the videos in new light-more like you created new videos which further sparks curiosity. So, yes, pls do it, it works.

Yes it works. I did not do that personally but I have followed some channels for a long time. Nowadays they often change the thumbnails and title. Some even reupload the same video with AI created vibrant colors and text thumbnails to gain traction.
