Well, I work in a high risk niche, related to sports movies etc... and i've been looking for a way to promote my services in reddit (I get shadowbanned everytime) the thing is I noticed some posts that are high ranked in google from reddit subs that has no relation to that domain, also the posts are posted using automods!! Also the subs owner are just 1 month old reddit accounts. I dont know how is that possible but it seems thats like the trend now in promoting that service!

Could be aged accounts, coordinated posting, or exploiting weakly moderated subs.

Reddit spam filters are pretty aggressive, especially in high risk niches.

Try focus on building some account history and contributing naturally first, rather than trying to bypass the filters.

Well, your findings are accurate. Like you said, your niche high risk and given the history of abuse from users, Reddit has deployed state of the art anti-spam filters which I believe don't find your niche particularly a friendly. As for newer accounts performing better, I have not verified that though

I’ve been watching the same pattern, they create a throwaway sub with a 1-month aged account, set Automod to auto-approve the promo post, then blast it with a few residential proxies so it ranks before the domain even gets linked to the real operation

Thats what im willing to do! I will try building confidence organically first

Yes they take control over subs that are not moderated. And keeps spamming the promotional posts

Interesting, so the posts can rank even without being in a relevant subreddit. i would be curious how long those rankings last before Reddit or Google catches on.

Yes me too. Thats what its all about

You mean the IPTV? Yes, that’s how we’ve been doing it, and it works fine for now. Only posts, though. Comments aren’t sticking.

i wouldn't put those Google rankings down to residential proxies. Google indexes the Reddit post, it doesn't know what IP was used to publish it. the interesting part is how those unrelated subreddits are getting their posts ranked, not which proxies they're using.

But for proxies i'm talking about the accounts that were created 1 month with over 1K karma, those who are the mods of the subs

I had a client doing this
But his end results are tragedies waiting to happen

Reddit goes extremely hard to root out any associated accounts

Faced any unexpected consequences?

Reddit can rank pretty well on Google, but posting in random subs with bots seems risky. If you're getting shadowbanned every time, I'd try finding subs where your service actually fits instead of pushing it everywhere.

AI bot posts seems to plague the front pages on the larger subs, im guessing reddit doesnt really care about those. but i havnt seen them being shown on google searches, so they likely are cracking down on the ones that would show up on google. pretty much the reason why google and open Ai is using reddit less and less.
