I gave Claude access to my Ahrefs and told it to run tests on a bunch of domains for "paid guest post" etc style services from providers on BHW. 90% of them, it said, were completely unusable — the DR, etc looked ok, but the outbound link profile was just ridiculously spammy — 10s to 100s of thousands of OBL on each domain, giving a clear fingerprint of being a link farm.

How can I find better paid link opportunities? Ik I could just do WH SEO, but I want to pay to play.

This is for a luxury/fashion niche site BTW.

Ahrefs DR alone is not enough to judge a backlink strength.

We need to check five things when choosing a guest outreach sire. Organic traffic, referring domains, outbound links, topical relevance and anchor text patterns. For luxury fashion niche, there would be a lot of spammy sites actually when it comes to guest outreach.

You must target with the lifestyle blogs if you want to go with guest outreach. A DR30 site with real fashion traffic can be better than a DR70 link farm.

You need to have a proper structure when u r trying to build guest outreach links in any niche.

organic traffic is the one I always look at first now. DR can be bought or inflated but you can't fake real monthly visitors. if a DR60 site gets 200 visitors a month it's basically a dead domain with fake metrics.

For luxury/fashion, I'd probably focus more on niche relevance, real organic traffic, and whether the site actually has an audience rather than DR alone. Have you tried looking at smaller fashion magazines or independent blogs with genuine readership? They might be harder to get placements on, but the overall quality could be much better.

Definitely, go for traffic sites, and if you are worried about OBL, mostly the old sites have high OBL, so you will need new website with traffic, those sites will have low OBL, you can buy those guest posts.

Thats the problem with many paid placements on the market. The key is finding sites with genuine niche relevance, real traffic, and a natural outbound link profile not just impressive DR.
Especially in luxury and fashion, relevance and quality matter.

There are many people offering guest post services on this forum. You can find them in the marketplace and review their website lists before deciding to buy.

You can also contact fashion writers or editors and ask about spondored content rates instead of buying from link sellers.

Yeah organic traffic is KING. You can inflate the DR but you can't inflate the traffic coming from a backlink.

For your niche, target legit fashion with real organic traffic. check recent posts and outbound links, not just dr, as many sites are full of paid placements. pay more for relevant sites with real readers than waste money on link farms.

You can ask and check for niche fashion blogs, lifestyle publications, and luxury websites that have real organic traffic. Check their traffic history, the pages linking out, how many unrelated niches they cover, and whether their recent articles are actually getting indexed.

Also, ask providers for sample URLs before ordering and review the outbound link profile yourself.

I would be worried about OBL too bro.
How google treat such sites like link farms or paid links you are paying for that does nothing. in my openion if site has low traffic but still with clean content and low OBL so I would prefer those sites instead link farms.

but honestly, I would recommend starting off small and seeing how much traffic you get before investing further into it. You should look into your geographic, placements, source nd whether your visitors are staying on your landing page or leaving right away. It is great to have gud stats, but if no one convert it doesn’t matter.

For a luxury fashion site, id prioritize placements on genuine fashion, lifestyle, and design publications with real readership. A smaller site with relevant editorial content can be more valuable than a high-dr domain overloaded with unrelated outbound links.

DR alone can be misleading. I'd look for niche-relevant sites with real organic traffic, natural outbound links, and articles that attract genuine readers rather than sites selling links in bulk. For luxury and fashion, I'd prioritize actual fashion blogs and digital publications over generic guest-post networks.

I think looking at the actual site is more important than just looking at DR. Does it actually have organic traffic, is there relevant fashion content on the site and does it have a natural backlink profile? There could be a smaller site which has an authentic audience rather than a site with great stats but lots of spammy backlinks.

Try to contact fashion blogs and magazines directly. it takes more time, but you can find sites that fir your niche.

I’d look beyond BHW and start identifying websites that already publish content in the luxury and fashion niche. Check whether they get consistent organic traffic, have real readers, and link naturally to relevant brands in existing articles. Also review their outbound links manually rather than relying on DR alone. A genuine fashion publication with a smaller audience can be far more valuable than a high-DR site built primarily to sell links.

For luxury/fashion, I’d prioritize niche relevant editorial sites with genuine organic traffic, clean outbound link profiles and real audience engagement over high DR alone.

Look for fashion magazines, lifestyle blogs and boutique publications offering sponsored placements and manually review their recent posts before paying.

another thing to consider is the presence of an actual audience that would be interested in ur products.even a good traffic can mean nothing when it comes to a blog which attracts only those people who are not interested in luxurious nd fashionable goods.i m ready to spend more money for a right pllacement than on cheap links.
