Hi all, I invented a game for entrepreneurs that I believe can be the next Cashflow 101 (Kyosaki) and as I grow my personal brand and the exposure of the game, I wanted to target entrepreneurs outside USA (so around Asia) in a campaign to get LinkedIn followers (genuine not panel) and then hopefully also grow my YouTube. It sells in the US for $97 per year (online game + community platform) and I would love to give it away in return for a LinkedIn follow to anyone who would take that. I was thinking of running LinkedIn, Meta and YT ads for this.

Would appreicate a reality check if this is totally stupid or might work?! And if anyone here can help me work out how to model out the cost of the ads - LLMs are giving me way too high of a cost at the moment. Thanks in advance!

I would start with one country nd one advertising network rather than spreading out the funds on all three. free access may bring followers, but it should be observed how many play the game.

I think it could work, especially in Asia, but I’d test a small budget first and focus on getting genuine entrepreneurs interested in the game rather than just chasing followers.

Instead of giving away a full year, I'd test a limited free-access period and track how many users return to play or engage with the community afterward. That could help you estimate the real value of each acquired user, not just the cost of a LinkedIn follow.

I think it could work, but I’d start with a small test budget on LinkedIn ads and target specific entrepreneur groups in Asia. Track the cost per genuine follower and YouTube subscriber before scaling up.

Try to test one platform first instead of spreading the budget across all three, LinkedIn could work for targeting entrepreneurs, but giving away a $97 product just for a follow doesn’t guarantee genuine interest.
