looking for some technical advice. i have a couple of solid keywords with great ctr and good ad relevance but the overall quality score is completely ruined because the landing page experience says "below average".
the site is built on clean html, mobile speed is fast (under 1.5s), and the keyword is placed naturally in the headers. what hidden layout things is the search bot looking for during review? any fast tweaks to bump this up?

Try to match the landing page more clossely to what people are actually searching for. adding the keyword alone may not be enough.

In my opinion you should add useful details about your offer instead of just repeating the keyword in headings.

Make your contact details and business information easy to find. A clean design is good, but visitors also need to trust the site.

Check if your landing page matches the exact search intent, speed alone wont fix it.

Put the main answer or offer at the top of the page instead of starting with a long introduction.

Compare your landing page with the actual search terms triggering your ads. Sometimes the keywords look relevant, but the visitors expect something different.

Speed and keywords in the headers are the two things Google weights least for landing page experience, so I would check two other things first.

Make sure AdsBot can actually see the page. A firewall, geo block or bot challenge gives you "below average" with no other symptom.

Then look at what the page is missing, not what it has. The ones I have seen stuck at this score were fast and clean but had no business name, address, phone, or privacy and terms links anywhere. Google calls that transparency and it moves the score more than copy does.

Also, quality score updates slowly on low volume keywords, so the number you see can be weeks old.
