Hey guys,

I was checking my Bing webmaster tools and noticed something strange. My impressions were showing before but after Oct 11 its showing zero.

Total impressions are 124 and clicks are only 3 in the last 3 months.

Not sure if its a problem with Bing reporting or something wrong with my website. Has anyone faced this before? What should I check first?

Thanks

the 12 warnings in your screenshot are worth checking first. bing still shows 21 indexed urls, so i'd open site explorer and see exactly what those warnings are about. then inspect a few pages that were getting impressions before october 11 and check their current index status and last crawl date. if they're still indexed with no crawl issues, i'd look at lost keyword visibility before assuming something is wrong with the whole site.

That spike to 50 impressions right before it flatlined to zero is pretty classic Bing behavior for newer or smaller sites. Did you publish a bunch of AI content or do any bulk changes around that date?

124 impressions in three months is still a pretty small amount of data. A few days at zero might just be normal fluctuations. Worth comparing full weeks in Bing Webmaster Tools before assuming something is wrong with the site.

content are AI.

Its normal for weak site. How did you make the content strategy? What data was used to make decisions?

That Oct 11 cutoff is a useful clue, so I would start with those 12 warnings before assuming anything bigger broke. Since Bing still shows 21 indexed URLs, I would check Site Explorer to see exactly what those warnings are tied to. Then I would pull up a couple of the pages that were getting impressions before Oct 11 and compare their current index status and last crawl date. If they are still indexed with no crawl issues, looking at lost keyword visibility would tell you a lot more than guessing from the flatline alone.

had the same zero-impressions scare once and it turned out to be bing's reporting lagging, not the site lol. i'd double check the site is still verified in webmaster tools and fetch one url as bingbot before rewriting anything

first of all, I would look into Bingbot acces nd webmaster warning before impression start going away because the crawler gets blocked due to website changes.
the existence of AI generated content is not a gud reason to come to a conclusion, first analyze URLS nd indexing.

Yes, I would start with Bing Webmaster Tools' URL Inspection to confirm that it is indeed a problem with crawling and not something else. Sometimes there can be reporting lags.

Compare the dates in Bing and Google Search Console to see if the drop happened around the same time.

GSC should be checked around October 11th to see if there was a dip in google impressions or whether it is just bing. You can also check URL Inspection for two affected pages to see when bing last crawled them. Did you make any change to the website or did you publish a lot of AI-generated content around that time?

yep, comparing both timelines can help get the answer. but if there were a failure in just one search engine, I would look into the algorithms before making changes to the entire SEO plan.

Before treating this as a sitewide drop, export the pre-Oct 11 queries and pages and see how many actually produced those 124 impressions. If most came from one query or one URL, losing that visibility could explain the whole flatline. Then inspect that specific URL in Bing, rather than changing all 21 indexed pages. Also compare the same search type and date filters; the total chart alone doesn't show whether this is a crawl problem or simply a very small amount of visibility disappearing.

I would look into what transpired prior to october 11 before making any changes to the website. as bing is showing 21 indexed page it does not automatically mean that the entire site is gone. check a few old URLs in URL Inspection and see when was their last crawled date. also, did you post the majority of the AI content at once or gradually?

your title and keyword are not mostly in searching. that why is reason of dropping the impression. you need to be trend keywords the your impression is increase.

I believe there are similar issues with Bing Webmaster Tools. Reports are sometimes delayed, but you should also check your indexing status and crawl errors to make sure they are processing your sitemaps and removing crawl errors.

With only 124 impressions over three months, I would first separate three possible causes before changing the site: a reporting or crawl problem, a sitewide visibility problem, and simply low demand for the pages that were getting impressions.

A useful order is to check whether the pages are still indexed and crawlable, then whether Bingbot is still reaching the site. Look at the crawl and indexing reports, the sitemap status, and whether anything changed around October 11, such as a theme or plugin update, a robots file change, hosting downtime, or a burst of new posts. If the pages are still indexed but show no impressions, that points more to ranking or demand than to a complete block.

Next, check whether the drop is sitewide or limited to a few pages and queries. If one or two pages produced most of the earlier impressions, losing those pages can look like a sudden stop even when the rest of the site is unchanged.

I would avoid making several changes at once. Fix one clear issue if you find one, resubmit the sitemap, and then watch the same pages and queries for a longer period, because at this volume a few quiet days can look like a flat line.
