Focus on a clear profile, relevant keywords in your bio and consistent posts around one niche. Early engagement from real users can help, but Top Search rankings also depend on relevance and account trust, so there’s no guaranteed shortcut.
honestly, I don't think you will be able to reach the top of searches right away. Just fill in the information in your profile and keep making posts in the same niche for a while. check which posts are getting to the search and build on that; hashtags alone would not do the job.

It is absolutely possible for a new account to come in the top search on X. The account does not have to be old for this. The main thing is your topic and the initial likes and replies. You have to write the same word in your name and bio that you want to rank on and for the first seven days you have to post three to five times a day on the same topic so that the algorithm understands what you are about. A new account can improve its search ranking by being active regularly, sharing and having good conversations with others. Instead of posting a lot in a short time, you should make quality posts. When they start ranking, then move on to bigger keywords, you can easily come in the top search.

u can't rank in X 'Top Search" on a free fresh account anymore mate. X heavily filter unverified account out of top search results. u need to buy X Premium first
